Concept Development

  • RLA Interior design consultants have an understanding of the specialized needs of a client. Helping clients develop concepts that transform their spaces into an environment that has a unified look. Working together to create a total environment that is inviting to clientele and employees.

  • RLA fees for concept development range from $10,000 to $80,000 depending upon complexity of the project.

This fee includes:

  • Evaluation of your business and how it runs.

  • Evaluation of your clientele.

  • Analysis and optimization of space plan.

  • Detailed survey and/or analysis of program required.

  • Conceptual ideas, sketches and floor plans showing interior changes.

  • Present the above for client's approval.

Additional Fee Structures

  • RLA also have separate charges for each individual aspect of the design process. Giving the client the flexibility to select which services are most appropriate and affordable.

Execution of Concept

Execution of project begins after the client in presented with the concept. The execution proceeds in Phases. Phase 1 being Concept Development as described above.

Phase 2

  • Finalize all schemes and decorative treatment.

  • Prepare design drawings needed for custom furniture and any interior architectural details.

  • Submit final drawings to various contractors necessary to interpret RLA design concept.

  • Finalize and prepare specification of all approved selection.

  • Prepare budget costs.

  • RLA to consult with architect or other professionals in connection with project if necessary.

Phase 3

  • During Progress of work Review all working drawings, specifications, and finished schedules submitted by contractor to ensure adherence to RLA's design.

  • Approve all materials, finishes, and color samples submitted by contractors. Supervise all decorative work in field. Inspect all installations at job site.

Fee For Execution of Concept

  • Time charges based upon our hourly rates of $220.00 per day for all work to be performed after initial presentation.

  • RLA will provide you with an estimate of these charges before beginning the project.

  • RLA also have separate charges for each individual aspect of the design process. Giving the client the flexibility to select which services are most appropriate and affordable.

Space Plan Optimization Fees

RLA offer a flat fee for space optimization. RLA can help you determine the appropriate square footage necessary to run your business. RLA can help you evaluate spaces you are considering leasing or purchasing for your business. A floor plan determines what size space you should be looking for before you begin your search for the right property.

  • RLA Fee for Space Plan Optimization ranges from $2,500 to $10,000 depending upon complexity and size of space.

Color Scheme Development

Color has a great impact on our emotions and our working habits. Colors are extremely important in a hospitality, office or retail setting. Determining the best color scheme for you or your business is not an easy task.

RLA fee for color analysis and color scheme development range from $3,000 to $8,000 depending upon complexity. The fees can be even higher for complex spaces.

Variables:

  • Size of space.

  • Complexity of color scheme in relation to layout.

  • Are you only looking for paint color selections?

  • Do you need an entire color scheme including flooring, works surfaces, etc.

Color rendering services available for an additional fee if necessary. A color rendering is a three dimensional drawing/visual of the space showing the proposed colors.

Budget Development

It is extremely important that you determine a budget before beginning an interior renovation. RLA can help you determine an accurate budget for your renovation. The dollar amount you budget for the interior design of your space is contingent upon your location, clientele, finish types,quality of materials used and the design details unique to your environment.

Budget Development Fees

Our fees range from $800 to $3,500 depending upon the complexity of the project.
